Deep golden coloured modern pale ale. The late hops are pronounced but not overpowering leading to a grapefruit & orange citrus nose. A lemon, malty and floral palate provide a fabulous balance and long bitter sweet finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Brunswick Inn, 1 Railway Terrace, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 2RU. [ As Newark Norwegian Blue ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, butterscotch, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fruity, caramel, butterscotch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150211]

Cask @ Joshua Brooks, Manchester. Golden with a thick foamy head. Light tasting session ale with gentle bitter malts throughout, but only a medium bitterness.
