Very nice! Rich and smokey, very meaty and sweet. Good mouthfeel, tiny bit of roast. Could almost be a proper Rauchbier.

Sampler from tap at Martinus. Black with creamy tan head. Dark roasted malts, licorice, moderate smoke, bit sour or rotten wood. Moderate sweet and bitter with light sourness. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Another slick maltball but this one seems to be slightly infected. Still something nice in there though.

From the tap at Martinus. Pours very dark brown with cappuccino foam. Aroma is obviously smoked, but also has terrain. Body is medium with limited stickiness. Taste starts with some sweetness and ends with a hint of bitterness. Finish is relatively long and pleasant. A great smoked beer!
