Bottle. As Twenty One Anniversary Ale. Pours an amber ruby color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody bourbon caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy woody caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty bourbon woody caramel finish.

Draft. Mahogany beer with a nice tan head. Bourbon and light spice aroma with light caramel and oak. Bourbon and caramel flavor with light grapefruit. Fuller bodied. Bourbon and caramel lingers with light grapefruit and light butteriness.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Clear ruddy brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes gradually. Stringy lacing. Aroma of oak, malt and fruit. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, malt and dark fruit. The finish is fruity with a bourbon aftertaste. Decent overall.
