On tap at SanTan, pours a clear dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma is robust, with lots of resinous hops upfront and toasted caramel underneath. Flavour is robust, with loads of resinous hops and sticky chewy caramel malt. Bold and aggressive, while being well-balanced and not too sweet. Very good.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Grapefruit and light caramel aroma. Caramel and grapefruit flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Caramel and grapefruit linger with light pine.

Poured up on tap at the 2015 edition of the AZ Strong Beer Festival where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The mild aroma offers up sort of vague hoppiness that seems to have a thin citrus facet as well as pineapple. The taste is smooth and sweet and quickly gets into bitter and juicy pineapple and even mango like tropical fruitiness. It then picks up some pine and then spicy dank onion hoppiness. The aroma is a little bit of a letdown but the flavor kind of makes up for it.
