On tap at BitterCreek Alehouse, Boise. In a flight along with the ’11, ’12, and ’13 standard DBs Hazy redish amber with a small but lasting light tan ring. Clumps if sticky lacing crawl down the glad after each sip. Big wine barrel aroma. Sour fruit and muted bitter hops. Lots of woody musty barrel flavor that really suppresses the in-your-face DB IBU onslaught. Long sweet bitter trailer. Soft full palate. Glad I got to try this along side the others for comparison.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Malt and oak aroma with light caramel. Earth and pine flavor with light grapefruit and oak. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine linger with earth, oak, caramel, and light red fruitiness.
