Tap@Triple Voodoo. Pours light hazy orange with a medium creamy off-white head that dissipates slowly with great lacing. Light aroma is quite malty, biscuit and caramel, citrus and pine-sol. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, pine-sol. Fairly harsh right from the start, with a harsh biting lingering bitter finish. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Ack.

Bottle from City Beer, consumed in a hotel room in SF in February 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Clear amber with a large, creamy head. Aroma and taste of malt, toffee, hops, pineapple and grapefruit. The finish was bitter and with warming alcohol.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear orange amber with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of syrupy caramel malt, light resin and lots of residual sweetness. Flavour is unfortunately the same, but not as cloying as I thought it'd be, with notes of syrupy caramel malt, light resinous hops, and some residual sugars. This is an over-malted IIPA unfortunately, with a residual sweetness that overtakes any significant hoppy character. Not very good.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Earth and citrus aroma. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light sweet malt. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light pine lingers with light sweet malt and light oak.
