CBC. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 130516

[5/13/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Blue session. Black with some brown foam. Roast, coffee, licorice, vanilla. Sweet flavor with chocolate, vanilla, roast, bourbon, a bit of licorice, bitter finish. Full-bodied.

Tap@Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Copenhagen - black pour with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma and taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, some burnt brown sugar, some wooden notes, roasty finish.

Sample at CBC Blue Session. Pours black with small tan head. Roasted aroma with some bourbon, vanilla, oak, light chocolate. Sweetish, thin chocolate taste with bourbon notes and roast.

Sample at CBC 2016. Black with a small tan head. Roasted malt, some bourbon, dark fruit and chocolate. A bit on the sweet side with a big body. The finish was long.

Tap at CBC 2016 Blue session. Poured almost black with little life. The aroma is roasty malt, molasses, big fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich alcoholic bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a fully gone head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and breadish. Dark malty and roasted. Lingering dark malty. Breadish and liqoruice dense dark malty finish.

Draught @ CBC 2016, Copenhagen. Pours pitch black with a tiny head. Aroma of roasty malts, wood, vanilla, oak and bourbon. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some bourbon and wood. Finish is sweet and syrupy with some wood, oak and vanilla. A bit generic.
