Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and malt flavor with light tropical fruits. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and grapefruit lingers with light caramel.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a nice white head. Lower hop aroma than expected - aroma is hop/creamy, but not too strong. Sweet malt flavor with good balance in hops - fruity (peach/citrus). Not hoppy enough for a great IIPA. Very drinkable, but too malty and sweet. Still, a nice beer though.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of butter combined with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops, that burn in the throat, but also a light buttery note. I don’t like the hops - and not enough for a double IPA. The body is light.

On tap. Clear amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose but surprisingly little hops. Medium body, sweet caramel and fruit. Lightly bitter finish. A surprisingly subdued Double IPA with focus more on the malts rather than hops. 090709

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth hoppy, light fruity a bit downplayed on the hops profile. Flavour is also rather smooth and with a good malt base to counterbalance the hops. Smooth and fruity from back of the nose. Ends medium dry, fruity and subdued malt sweet flavoured.
