Deutlich saurer, dabei mild getreidig-hefiger Antrunk. Die süffige Säuerlichkeit bleibt noch eine Zeit lang bestehen, süffig bitter, zum Ende ziemlich trocken werdend. Rundes gutes Sauerbier. 10/11/12/12/12/12

The Well, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is woody, lambicish, lemony. Tste is lemony sour with some sugary. The yeast is really the best quality of this beer. The aftwrtaste is quite nice and very memorable. Quite good.

Tasting at Matt’s; vintage 2015
Hazy blond color with small frothy head. Strong funky aroma, cellar smell, fart; pungent. Lemony, sharply sour, with a touch of passion fruit, moderate cellar character, and very dry in the final.
Interesting, extreme.

Bottle. A hazy, golden-yellow beer topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is funky, with lemon and some old leather. Hay and barnyard, some pale malts. It’s medium bodied, dry, softly carbonated and with a little sourish hint. It’s funky in the flavor too, lemony and barnyard-ish, with some hay and grass. Long finish with the funk doing most of the work. Nice indeed, although sort of doughy and one tracked. 151212

375ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Rich yeasty aroma, a sweet-ish bretty touch of strawberry bubblegum, notes of white wine, grapes, hints of brine, dill, mustard, a floral touch under a lemon bell jar. Taste is mildly tart, vinegar acuteness is perforating a decent, biscuity malty core, hints of lemon juice contribute some tartness as well; further there are dry hints of oak, a floral touch, fruity hints of pear. Very clean and mild.
