On tap @ What’s Brewing 15. Pours yellow with a big, short lived creamy head. Aroma is tart lactic acid, with lemon and some bretty notes of wood. Light body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart lactic acid and lemon, as well as bretty wood and notes of minerals. Short sour finish.

Very pale and hazy. Aroma is bretty, floral and hoppy. Light brett, fairly sour, clean, with a light woody note. Pretty good - the pale malts are dialed in nicely.

37.5 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow, off white head. Aroma is funky, barnyard and crisp bretty. Smooth fruity, wineous, brett and light sour. Lingering citric, brett and fruity. Smooth brett finish, lasting winous.

Bottle 2015, 5%. Hazy yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, brett, lemon, sour, little leather and tart. Flavour is malt, fruit, brett, tart, lemon, little sweet, medium dry, sour and a little bitter.

Draft pour at Crooked Stave at the Source. Batch 1 and 2 enjoyed side by side. According to the brewery, though the batches are noticeably different, the beer is still the same. Main difference in my opinion is that number two is a little more sour, so naturally I preferred it. Floral, but far from their most floral beer. Sour fruit with a citrus finish. Batch one is a little more dry and has a heavier straw like feature, but still fantastic. Sour fruit aroma. Loved it.

Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light fruit sour note with a bit of lemon, some flora, a bit of earthiness and a touch of dryness. Flavor has a bit more of a sour kick with a bit of flora, earthiness and a slightly dry finish.

Bottle. Hazy hay yellow liquid with medium white head. Aroma of lemon, apple skin, light grain, light brett, light barnyard and mineral. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of mineral, lemon, apple skin and light grain. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Really nice!

Bottle - Gueuze like petroleum jelly notes and white grape. Cloudy gold with a bit of a frothy white head. White grape, lemon rind and a dry powdery candy citrus finish.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of barnyard funk, a touch of fart, and wild yeasts. Flavour is quite dank, with herbal notes, some barnyard notes (horse blanket), and various wild yeasts. Not the most complex beer from Crooked Stave, but it works. Balanced and drinkable. Good.
