On tap at Toronado. I sat down next to one of the brewers, who encouraged me to try it and explained that this beer had soured unintentionally. They ended up liking the mildly sour version enough that they sent a keg to Toronado. It was actually pretty nice for a big barrel-aged scotch beer with a tart twang. Lots of caramel, some good whiskey and a fruity sourness. A bit sticky on the palate. Nice looking beer. I wrote this one in my notes as "barrel-aged Edwin’s", so I’m not positive that this is the right entry.

Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Chocolate and bourbon aroma. Bourbon and chocolate flavor. Medium-plus bodied. Chocolate and rich malt lingers with bourbon and light spice.
