on tap-pours an off white ring for a head and copper color. Aroma is mild light/medium malt-some sweet. Taste is light/medium malt-some sweet, toffee, slight perfume/citrus hops, medium/dark fruit. Opens up nicely as it warms.

Draft. Deep copper/bronze beer with a dark cream colored head. Sweet amlt and dried fruit aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with raisins, figs, and dates. Medium-plus bodied. Sweet sugary malt lingers with dark fruit, dried fruit, and light yeast. Too sweet.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted caramel and vague phenolic. Nice lacing on the glass. Phenolic, dry yeasty and solid caramelish flavoured. Bitter and dry finish with a light phenolic note into the far finish. Classic belgian strong ale.
