16 oz can poured. Much thanks to Hoff for the can! A golden orange pour with a thin, oily fizz head. Even aroma of grains and citrus hops. Flavor is cool and calm throughout. Gritty grains. Biscuit malt. Soft citrus. Bitter lingering finish. Nothing unique or stand out for this one, but a pleasant double for sure.

16 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal hops, a little pine and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry herbal hops and toasted biscuity malt. Dry palate, with a rather washed out hop character. It's okay.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a pine and zesty citrus hop with little or no malt presence. Flavor is a nice decent melon hop with plenty of fruit flavor that follow. The only problem with this beer is it is listed as a double IPA and while it does have a decent hop profile it’s not going to overpower the palate with hops. They are there but nothing like some of the hops bombs coming out of New England these days.

Pours a clear, golden yellow, with lots of effervescence and a solid, mid-sized head. Aroma is very floral, with lots of grass, some fruit, some hops. Flavor is quite grassy, too, with some citrus, and a lot of hops. Also, I’ve seen this in other reviews, but this is the first time I’ve noticed it--this beer has a touch of onion flavor to it as well (kind of odd).

On tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is full of citrus with a slight tropical fruit note and a light grain backbone. Flavor has much more bitter citrus with a grapefruit bite and a bit of grain backing.

poured from a can. This beer is very well carbonated and had a tall, lasting head. Light copper color. Aroma has dry grass, plants, and a little citrus, which i expected would mean some citrus flavor, but that wasn’t there. Flavor is dry and bitter. Some grain, minimal sweetness and hop bitterness. I have three more cans and will rerate if my impression changes, but I picked up far less tropical and citrus character than I expected. Still, it is a solid beer.
