30/11/2019. Cask at the Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, malt, caramel and grapefruit. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, soft to flat carbonation.

Cask (handpump) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Colchester Barbarian ].Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141204]

Cask at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is pale malt, straw, light citric notes, floral, orange. Taste comprises vanilla, light citric peel, tangerine, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a grassy bitter linger. Whelming.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Light clean pale malts. Trace of honey. Mild orange marmalade. Little lemon citrus. Light semi dry finish.
