Tap. Pours lightly hazy orange, huge beige head, really creamy with good lacing. Aroma of dishwater, maple syrup. Flavor is light plus sweet, lots of Aunt Gemima, no bacon. Light body, minimal carbonation remains after the nitro head event. Smoke? Not really. Gimmick beer

The maple is 7/10 strong. The body is consistently full on all their beers, as is this one. The underlying brown is clean and plain and meshes well with the maple. Gilman berkeley.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a lightly hazed golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some lightly smoked grains and maybe a hint of maple syrup. The flavor has some lightly sweet maple and a hint of smoke. The smoke builds in the finish, but the body is very light for such aggressive flavors. It needs to have more body for support. Low carbonation. The malt character is a bit doughy. Just ok.
