On tap in Berkeley. It pours a hazy pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has light melon and bread with subtle hints of lemon and orange. Subdued, but pleasant. The flavor has a little orange, light citrus tartness with a peppery finish. Very light, crackery malt profile. Soft and easy going mouth feel. Really more of an IPA than Saison, but there is some noticeable pepper in the finish. Dry and not juicy despite the haze. Overall, good.

Can to tulip from the can release in Sacramento. Overt tropics and grapefruit. Wheat and slight resin. Hazy pale yellow with no head. Taste is tropics and hop resin. Yeast provides well rounded and full mouthfeel. Pineapple flavor appeared as it warmed and on the back half of the palate. A slight yeasty funk pervades the corners of the aroma. Beyond that, I don’t get much Farmhouse aspects here....but without worrying about style, this beer is awesome!
