Draft @ the brewery. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty woody grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty woody hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty woody grainy hoppy finish.

@Ballard. Dark gold-amber, thin head, has a light phenolic note, accented by berries. Flavour is a mess. It’s not all bad, but shit, it has no coherent character with hops, barrel, and all that sweet malt.

On tap at Lagunitas. It pours a clear pale gold color with a white head. THe aroma has some red wine, wood, and earthy hops. The flavor is more oak forward with earthy/spicy noble hops. Very oaky and a bit too bitter. Full on the palate. Kind of strange and not very easy to drink.

On tap at Lagunitas, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of phenols, light grass and corn. Flavour is dry and woody, with grass, wood, and some phenols. Not sure why you would barrel age an impie pils, as it just doesn't lend itself to barreling. Not a fan.
