On tap at the Pacific Standard in Berkeley. It pours a clear golden orange color with a creamy off white head. The aroma is pleasant with hints of lavender soap, pepper and lightly toasted malt. The flavor has strong lavender with ligher hints of apple and pear with a peppery finish. Itβs a little on the sweet side, but still pretty crisp like a Saison should be. Slightly oily mouth feel. Good carbonation with a nice flowery, herbal, peppery finish. Not overly phenolic or bitter. Lingering honey-like sweetness, but other than than that a great first effort. A pretty straight forward, well made Saison.
