On tap at Cellarmaker. It pours dark brown with a small light brown head. The aroma is strong with smoky coffee. Nice soft roast with a little cocoa. The flavor has the same intense smoky coffee base with light hints of berries and flowers in the background. Soft roast. Light bodied. Smoke and more coffee in the finish. A little weak in the body and just an absolute overload of coffee.

The beer is coffee black, maybe even a little darker, strong coffee black. Some brown at the edges but not much. Smallish beige head, some lacing. Lots of solid coffee flavor in the aroma. Big chocolate, roast, a little vanilla, some caramel, mild ash. Not terribly fruity. Nice coffee expression, even if it isn’t the most interesting coffee flavor. Lightly sweet in the taste. Nice blend of caramel and coffee. Finishes dry and refreshing. Solid chocolatey coffee flavor. Light to medium body. Sorta creamy. Nice version.
