Brewed in celebration of cherry reds 10th birthday. Using our tart and citrusy sour base beer with 160kg of cherry into secondary for a sour cherry hit with clean refreshing finish

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Pours hazy darkish red, minor white swirl but no retention. A fairly punchy sour for modern standards anyway, cherry, light toasted grain, light drying finish. Nothing particularly stands out here but fairly tasty.

Draft at Sommar Leicester. Brownish red, clear, no head. Aroma of cherry syrup, not a lot else. Tart taste, quite a bit of cherry, with the back-of-the-thrpat sourness making for an intense finish. Super-watery body, a little bit of carbonation. A little dull for a fruit sour but it does what it says on the 10.

Draft at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Poured a mostly clear dark pink colour with a few bubbles. The aroma is unsurprisingly cherry. The flavour is light sour, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, light yeast, tart cherry palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Happy Birthday to Cherry Reds!
