Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 3 - Hackney. Pours clear deep brown with a frothy, light khaki head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of well toasted butterscotch, toffee, brown bread, a few raisins, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Balanced finish, nicely malty.

Cask at the Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown colour with an everlasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light ashtray. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasty, earthy, nutty, light toffee, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
