Draft at Sommar, Brindleyplace, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is roasted malt, light toffee caramel lactose. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smooth, roasty, sweet, sugary, light caramel, liqourice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Pretty light and all over the place. It’s sweet but that’s about it.
