From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Breadish, chocolate, malty. Bitter and slight toasted. Dry and breadish malty into a dry and roasted finish.

Pours black with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, citrus and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, citrus and licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Clear, nearly black with thick beige froth. Aroma has roast, milk choc and ash. Light licorice notes. Flavour is roasted with more milk chocolate. Some milky sweetness, light coffee and good bitterness to balance.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Near black with a small tan head. Roasted aroma with light coffee notes, licorice and chocolate, and a touch of charcoal. Sweetish roasted flavour with a good balance between sweetness and roasted bitterness.
