Winter 2017 seasonal. Deep, intense caramel malt flavours are cut beautifully with lots of hops, which bring a spiced orange feel to proceedings.

Bottle at home. Aroma is fruity hops, tropical fruits, bready malt, some caramel, citrus, tangerine, pine resin, biscuit. Flavour is nicely bitter with a little pleasant malty sweetness. Body is medium but firm. Very nice, appears quite malty at first but the citrus hoppy flavours become more noticeable when you drink more of it.

Pinkish medium head over copper-amber beer, leaving some shards of lace. Very cheesy hops, even a bit meaty. Also flowery, green leaves, some passion fruit; slightly oxyidized. Autumn leaves, caramel, bit earthy even. Slight cheese and also black tea, this last quite strongly and growing; musk. Very dry, on the edge of astringent. Hopoils-slick. The nose put me off, unfortunately, but the rest got better and better. It acquired a real taste of cold black tea, in the end.
