Bottle from Keystore, Oldmeldrum. It pours deep reddish - brown with a thick bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, caramel, toffee, dried fruits, jam, earthy, varnished wood and spice. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, leather, tannin, chewy, varnished wood, resin, spicy, toast, dull toffee and some soapiness with a dry finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Deep ruby brown with a foamy off-white head, there's a hint of toffee on the nose and the flavour is a nice sweet fruit and nut affair, with some delicately bitter hop character alongside. Has a smooth mouthfeel and a relatively sweet finish.
