Tap, as just Dopplebock. Pours clear orange, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, dark sugars, bocky, hint of metal, orange peel. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, lingering aftertaste.

On tap at Eppig, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet caramel, bready notes and German lager year. Flavour is nicely malted, with bready malt, caramel and toasted nuts. Malty, nutty and bready finish. Nicely made.
