Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - pours pale yellow with no head. Aroma and taste is very sweet with honey, caramel, nice oaky wooden nuance, resonating sweet warming boozy finish. Lovely.

Draft. A hazy yellow mead. The aroma has notes of honey, wood, lemons, and herbs. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, flowers, and wood, leading to a sweet alcoholic finish.

75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with No head. Aroma is smooth wooden, wineous. Sweet, fruity, honey and wooden. smooth fruity, wineous. Lingering dry and wineous finish.

Sample @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Dansk Mjød Vikingernes Mjød Oak ].Clear light amber yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, wood, fruity honey, alcohol, oak, dry oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, alcohol, oak. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160519]

Draught at KØ2016. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and wonderfull moderate honey aroma. Light swet and heavy honey/herbal flavor. Long finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

DØE. Clear golden without head. Aroma is sweet, honey, spicy and light wood. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 190516
