Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 10 | Overall - 7.5

Tap. Pours nearly black and opaque, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, tobacco, toffee, espresso. Flaky is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, smooth and silky mouthfeel.

Roast and bitter coffee. Black pour with good head. Some oak here. Dark chocolate. Tall can.

16 ounce can. Cola brown color. Frothy tan head. Spotty lacing. Toasted malt aroma hints at licorice and light coffee. Sweet roasted malt flavor upfront. More licorice, milk chocolate, caramel and black pepper notes. Medium-bodied with a smooth, clean mouthfeel. Sharp, pronounced bitter finish. Certainly different than most Baltic Porters. Tasty, nonetheless.
