0.375L bottle, courtesy of drfabulous, pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin ring of light tan foam. The modest aroma offers up a blend of oak and bourbon followed by oak nuanced dates and plums. The taste delivers a punishing beat down of rich and boozy goodness. I get the same boozy bourbon softened spicy oak, bourbon and more booze as noted in the nose. The boozy barrel character is forward but there's a nice smooth supple undercurrent of sweet rich dark fruity esters creating just the right sipping balance. The fruity esters are date and plums swimming in a thin pool of molasses. This is a bracing yet rewarding sipper.

Tap. Pours hazy hazel, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is werthers, dark sugars, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is very sweet, rich, decadent, werthers galore, hint of cherry. Full body, silky mouthfeel. Pretty damn good.
