Draught. Hazy golden colour with pretty much no head (and very low carbonation). Aroma is malts, some fruits and a bit berryish and yeasty tones. Flavour is floral, some earthy, yeasty, herbal and mild berryish notes.

Bottle 500 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. For a Reinheitsgebot beer the aroma has a very wrong aroma of cardamom! And actually the beer appears somewhat spicy throughout. Medium body, a dry maltiness, biscuity with a surprisingly bitter finish. No sign of infection in this one, but it reminds me incredibly little of anything German. 100118

Draught. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Sample @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Birkerød 500 ].Unclear medium orange - yellow amber color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, wood, sweet malt, vomit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat flat. [20160520]

From cask. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and slight yeasty. Toasted and slight fruity, crisp. Lingering fruity and toasted finish. Mild fruity finish.

KØ16. Fruity aroma. Muddy golden colour. No head. The flavour is fruity with a mild spicy note, probably from the hops. Low carbonation, I think it was served from a wooden cask.
