The attic inside our Manor house was once used as a secret smokehouse for the family’s food supply during the Civil War. This beer has complex flavors, most unlike many beers brewed. Another staple of Bald Top, the Secretly Smoked Ale is one of our favorite beers to share with guests - have you tasted the bacon?

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7
Tap. Pours clear golden, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is smoky, campfire. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, medium smoke. Light body. The beer is largely just a carrier for the smoke, but it works.

No aroma. Clear copper, medium head. Smoke, smoked pork, tinny. Full body, frothy.
