Sample @ Voldby Ølfestival 2016. Pours seethrough black with a small brown head. Notes of roast, salty licorice, cocoa, roast, dust.

DØE. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roaetd malt, chocolate, dark fruit and salt liquorice. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, medium sweet, salt liquorice, hop and a little bitter.

Sample @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Munkebo Svadilfare ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, licorice, sweet licorice, roasted - toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet licorice, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160519]

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Toasted and caramelish malty. Toasted and sweet toasted finish.

KØ16. Roasted, liquorice aroma. Muddy dark brown colour. Almost no head. The flavour is roasted and slightly citric. Quite nice.
