Bottled. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some hops, alcohol, rye bread and toffee. Flavour is alcohol, some rye bread, mild herbal, grassy and earthy tones with quite a sweet punch to it.

Bottle @ Ølmarked, Godsbanen Aarhus. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, bitter citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is rather bitter, roasted malt, coffee, rich licorice, grapefruit, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 100318

Sample @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2016 (Beerfestival Copenhagen) ] @ Lokomotivvaerkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Munkebo Frysedestilleret Gleipner ].Clear light dark red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, caramelized malt, alcohol, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, alcohol, toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160519]

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is greasy hoppy and dark toasted malty. Thick hoppy and dark malty finish. Bitter and dry finish.

Bottle, 19%. Rough hoppy aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is sweet and bready with a mild bitterness. Actually quite sugary.
