Cask at Shakespeare, Summer Row, Birmingham. Pours brown, small beige head, decent lacing. Very sweet with caramel, nuts, earthy malts, hint of cocoa. Average depth but reasonably tasty. Smooth as you like with low carbonation.

Cask at the Clarence - Mayfair. Enjoyed in the company of SarkyNortherner and fam. Pours clear red-brown with a creamy beige topping. Lightly sweet with mellow toasted malts, some off-notes of tangy berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Further berry tang in the finish, faint earth, leather, toast. So so.
