Bottle from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 11 months past BBE. Murky amber-gold with a thin white covering. Aroma of cooking apples, grains, yeast, herbs. Taste of grainy apple juice, gooseberry, malts, crisp finish. Its ok.

Cask at Pigs Ear '21, day two, 01/12/21. Golden amber with an off white covering. Nose is herb, dried berries, winter cheers, grains. Taste comprises light malts, herb, spice, mulled wine vibes, not much apple tbh. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2021 - Hackney. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, bubbly white head. Prominent winter spices in this one, some pumpkin pie impressions, nutmeg, a little dry pale malt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Further holiday spices in the finish. Not getting much apple character, maybe some dry peel. A nice Pigs Ear offering.
