The type of beer that could only have been conceived through looking at our stockholding of hops and saying to ourselves “Yep, let’s go full throttle on this one” – why not take three of the most potent, fruit-forward hops we have in our cold store, nudge the dry-hop ratio up to one of our bigger IPAs and make the most flavour-packed pale ale we possibly can.
Motueka takes the lead on this beer, with its distinctive mojito muddled lime flavours backed up with a tropical fruit salad of sweet fruits. Waimea too? Why not. Big mandarin, tangelo and pine notes join the party before that passionfruit meets pot party of flavour notes from Strata finish things delightfully.

very hazy pale yellow colour, one inch of dense, snow-white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of orange peel oils, orange juicy, passionfruity, grapefruity, oatmeal, celery and some watery pineapple notes; taste is quite the same with some malty sweetness and spicy-horseradish-like aftertaste; correct one

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Fairly hazed gold, smooth white head with good retention. This one was citric and zesty with a modest funk, passionfruit, grass and hint of cereal. Medium bodied with a creamy wheat or oat malt. Nice.

Can from The Fuss.Club at home in London 30/11/2024 Nice interplay of citrusy fruity notes of lime and lemon, with some strata red grapefruit, light berry chimes, juicy satsuma segments, citrus peel, sweetish pale malts, piney balanced light bitter dank hoppy finish. Very nice.
