440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a smooth, silky, rich, roasty, biscuit, caramel, light ashtray, chocolate, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

440ml can from friends - deep brown body with a short lived tan head. Lots of buttery speculoos caramel, slightly smoked roasted notes, spicy cinnamon bun finish. Decent.

440ml can. Pours very dark with a small head. Aroma is caramel biscuit, light coffee and a little apple. Taste is very subtle and quite watery, light biscuit and coffee.

Fuller-bodied stout with light but influential enough caramel notes in both aroma and taste. Supermarket bought. Caramel smoothness.
