Keg @ WarPigs. Pours hazy vibrant deep yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some thick sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, slighty fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with freshly cut grass, chives and hints of tropical fruits. Bit heavy on the grass but fresh and enjoyable.

Draft from a keg. Totally turbid bright yellow, carbonation is perfect. Aroma is grassy, scallion hints, maybe the lightest note of pine.
Flavor is bold and delicate at the same time. Citrus is a tad more forward in the flavor but grassy mosaic hits my palate more. Mouthfeel has the signature light airy mouthfeel that that magic well water has. World class, yet again. So, so drinkable.

750mL growler filled 4/29/16 and drunk 5/9/16.
Big white head, nicely retained, tops this fairly hazy copper-blonde beer.
Not at all what I was expecting! Not that I really had any good reason to expect a big juice bomb but this is anything but. Perfume for days, mimicking honeysuckle, with delicate dots of honey and very light biscuit notes. Seems to mostly driven by citra, which are here done better than most, with no cat (not even the good cat) and little, if any, dustiness or scallion. Mild mango character and bits of dry nectarine from the other two hops but absolutely pine free. It’s great when simcoe is done right. Anyhow, I just sat and sniffed my glass for 5 minutes or so. Uncannily honeysuckle-aromatics are delightful and linger delicately.
Perfect texture/carbonation, as always, with no alcohol/flaw nor surplus of bitterness. Dry, with some dextrine or wheat-like chewiness to it with soft honey notes emerging more and more with warming and lots of lemon, light pineapple and grapefruit lingering wonderfully. Doesn’t even matter if they got the exact hop aromatics/flavors they wanted; the yeast, water and malt bring up the slack easily. God damn. HF, TH and Trillium are legit legalized crack.
