[ As Schloßbräu ].Clear medium to dark brown - red amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to light beuge head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, sugary malt, sweet bread. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, caramel, caramelized malt - sugar, sugary, sugary malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160516]

Flasche („Schloßbräu Doppelbock“, 33 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Tiefes Rotbraun, fast klar, kaum Schaum. - In der Nase weinig-malzige Schwere, Brotkruste, Trockenobst, Rosinen. - Antrunk breit dunkelmalzig-malzsüß mit Bayrisch Blockmalz. Leicht schokoladig aber kaum herb, nur ein zart säuerlicher Touch hält die Balance. Gut rezent. Im Abgang nur ganz blasse Herbe. - Zu leicht und zu mild gehopft; es fehlt die bocktypische Schwere.

Brotiger Antrunk, minimale Süße. Leicht schokoladig werdend, spritzig, für einen Doppelbock fast zu mild. Milder aber runder Doppelbock. 8/10/10/9/9/10

Bottle. Pours dark brown. White head. Sweet aroma with small notes of coffee. Choclaty taste, very sweet and rich.
