This is the second installment in our "Blends With Friends" series where we collaborate with other breweries by letting them taste through our barrel cellar and foeder stock and give them creative control over a blend. Last winter, the guys from Hidden Springs Ale Works came by and we put together a blend consisting of 75% foeder Saison and 25% 18 month-old spontaneous beer. Inspired by many of their fruited sour beers, we then added 3lbs/gal of pineapple, blood orange, and coconut to emulate one of our favorite Tiki drinks: the Painkiller.
