tap at brewpub in Frisco. My fav of the two DDH's offered. Bold and hazy. Nice!

Mango and a little green onion. Murky orange pour with ok head. Hop tang finish. Lots of sugar water. Can.

Can - hazy gold with a thick, fairly well-sustained head - taste is sugary sweet and a bit thin - some tropical and citric notes, white grape, herbal bitterness - but also some garlic cattiness, especially in the finish - tail end is sweetness and citrus, tasting a bit like orange juice - I want to digress here for a moment to say I don’t really “get” DDH hazy ipas - you take a style that’s aim is basically to make a hoppy beer with low bitterness, then you DDH that motherfucker, thus adding more bitterness? It just seems like a way to justify charging a lot more money by making the beer needlessly more expensive to makes- just sayin’.
