tap in Charlottesville. Decent Wit/Belgian - yeasty and mild, but easy to drink. Solid

Draft at South Street Brewery. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light floral hops. Mild citrus. Very light spices. Orange peel. Tasty light sour, candied orange finish. Actually pretty tasty. Liked it enough to get a full pint pour. Wife liked this the best out of the 10 on draft.

Light hazy golden coloured body with a thin faint off-white head. Aroma of light wheat, coriander seed, yeast and a bit of sour funk. Very light-bodied; Strong wheat flavours with a little yeast and a grassy kick that show quite a bit of funk and a small sourness near the end. Aftertaste shows more sour qualities, but they only last for a few seconds, the wheat and fresh finish takes over and ends relatively simplistically. Overall, a decent sounding beer in concept, but in execution and realistically, doesn’t match the name - not a bad beer, but not great nor a nice blend of the two styles. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Gainesville, Virginia on 07-May-2016 for US$1,85 sampled in the mountains of Shenendoah National Park later in the day on 07-May-2016.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruit and peel, herbs. Tastes of same. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Alright, didn’t really notice the gose qualities.

Can: Faint lemon zest nose. Clear golden, thin head. Malt, bread crust, lemony tang, some cardboard. Light body, moderate carbonation. This sample was not very exciting, but I’ve had it on draft where it had much more intensity, ranging from delicious to weird.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours a hazy straw with a large creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earth, wheat, spicy, doughy malt, dry citrus. The taste is doughy malt, salt, tart lemon, orange, coriander. Medium bodied, mild lingering spice.
