From tap at Multi Qlti Tap Bar, Kraków. Aroma is sweet malt, raisins, caramel, powdery chocolate, cocoa, some notes of tobacco. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Quite decent Baltic Porter, but on the sweet side.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna, rubinowe refleksy. Piana ?redniej gestosci, do?? szybko opada. W aromacie najpierw dominowa?a ?liwk? i wi?nia, po ogrzaniu wychodzi kawa i minimalna czekolada. W smaku kwa?ne, niedojrza?e ?liwki. Pó?niej palonosc. Ta kwasnosc mocno przeszkadza, nie mam pewno?ci czy to nie jest oznak? zepsucia. Chyba trafi?a mi si? zepsuta partia.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Piwoteka Porter Balucki ].Unclear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, molasses, light to moderate roasted, light chocolate, moderate wood, smoke. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, soft, smooth, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted, molasses. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively in the mouth but looks flat . [20160608]

500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brown colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, ochre-ish, beige head. Minimally chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of cherry, a liquorice touch, some overaged malt lozenge. Taste is roasty dark malty, hints of cherry, a touch of liquorice, soured milk.

0,5l bottle at home. BB 20.04.2016. dark brown color, small coffee-colored head. smells of dried fruits, raisins, caramel, spices, light glueish, brown sugar, creamy, some licorice, lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of dried fruits, raisins, some caramel, licorice, kinda medical, light glueish, lightly earthy. finishes bitter / sweet with a light glueish note, a bit medical and raisins and spices. overall good one, taste is kinda medical which did not work as well as the smell for me, but overall quite nice.

Butelka 0.5l (20.04.2016). Barwa ciemno brunatna, delikatnie przejrzysta pod swiatlo. Piana bezowa, obfita, drobna jednak szybko redukuje sie do cienkiego pierscienia wokol scianek szkla. Bezposrednio po otworzeniu butelki na pierwszy plan wychodzi nuta gorzkiej czekolady, po przelaniu do szkla bardziej intensywne sa nuty suszonej sliwki, slodkiego alkoholu, likierowe, sheery. Aromat nie powala ale jest calkiem przyjemny. W smaku czekolada, wisnia w czekoladzie, mocno przelamana alkoholem (sherry), ciut nieulozonym, troche palacym w gardle. Jak na porter baltycki to trunek jest nieco rzadki, nawet wodnisty z ciut za wysokim wysyceniem i za wyraznym choc tylko delikatnym kwaskiem w posmaku. Goryczka palona, alkoholowa, za dluga i zalegajaca z wytrawnym, drewnianym odczuciem na finiszu. Przyzwoita propozycja porteru baltyckiego ale brak mu ciala. Ciut wiecej pelni wywindowalaby ten porter o kilka leveli wyzej. Fajna jest delikatna slodycz lekko oblepiajaca podniebienie i dobra pijalnosc i zdecydowanie zyskuje w miare uplywu czasu (picia).
