Draught. Hazy orangeish golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is floral, wheaty, yeasty, rubbery and some earthy notes. Flavour is slightly acidic, with some hay, wheat, citrus and yeasty notes to it.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity wheat malty yeasty weak banana aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy weak sour flavor with hints of banana. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy weak sour finish.

DØE. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, light fruity and bretty. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. No doubt the brett wasn’t intentional, but it certainly improved the beer. 200516

[ As Birkerød Gylden Hvede ].Unclear - hazy matt medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, barnyard, leather, citrus, tart, quit Gueuze alike aroma. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, Gueuze alike, tart citrus, barnyard, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160520]

Fra fat på DØE dag 1, mai-16: uklar lys korngul med flott skum. For syrlig for en hveteøl synes jeg, den blir nesten stram og besk. Brød og lær.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and lemons, leading to a dry finish.

Sample from 50 cl bottle. Hazy, golden color with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, grasses, mineral notes from too excessive carbonation. Taste is bitter. Finishes dry with mineral notes. Doesn’t reach me.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp fruity, kixed bretty to green apples. High carbonation. Dry, solid bretty. Bitter. Fruity and dry finish.
