12oz bottle. Soap bubbly white head on top of a slightly hazy amber brown colored base. Candied orange vanilla among the classic Amber malt aroma. Some vanilla and light citrus helps to even this medium bodied, malt centered beer out. Sticky sweet, with some delicate vanilla pungency. Creamy and smooth enough to session out, I still found this one a little uninspired. Better as it warms up a little though.

Bottle from my Secret Santa - medium amber with soapy head - tart, yeasty, semi-oxidized aroma - a bit thin on the palate - a little caramel and chocolate malt flavor going on - some spicy hops way in the back - just okay.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a hazy amber with floating impurities and a creamy, off-white head. Vague caramel aroma. Medium-bodied with some caramel and a bitter, hoppy finish. Doesn’t appear completely clean. 300406

Hazy amber color. Some hops and light apples aroma; maybe some yeast. The taste, with some caramel, definitively confirms that the yeast footprint is too high. Rough.

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. I find the aroma quite weird - in a way that I can’t describe, but I pick up notes of berries and fruits - maybe it is berries and fruits I don’t know the names of? But in contrast to the aroma I find the flavor quite plainly sweet and malty and somewhat light, but still pleasant.

Not bad. Hoppy aroma is floral and citric. Off-amber color, big fluffy head. Soft palate, weak notes of grapefruit. Borders on bland but comes across somewhere between a bland amber and a really nicely quaffable APA.

This is another one of the fine offerings available in the grocery at the campground in Yellowstone National Park. An amber ale that isn’t too sophisticated to appeal to the casual Macro drinker who might chance to try it. All the attributes of the typical Amber Ale: gold color, weak head, mild sweet flavor, no hops, no finish (or should I say aftertaste). Rather boring, but drinkable.

Hazy deep gold, fast fading white head. Light malt nose. Slighly corny malt flavor, faint hop finish. Complex
