Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Vague malts and sweet berry aroma. Dark brown. Does have a red tint to it. Frothy but blotchy off-white head. Medium bitter. Quite hoppy in fact. Underlying tart berries. Light bodied. On the thin side. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. Surprisingly hoppy ESB. OK.

Cask at Chippenham Beer Festival. Deep amber-red. A malty earthy bitter with some toffee behind and a decent rich mouthfeel. OK but forgettable.
