Mecklenburger Dunkles Weissbier is a typical Bavarian "Dark Wheat" which is top fermented and made with at least 51% wheat malt and an original wort gravity of minimum 12%. It is traditionally brewed according to the German Purity Law using only the finest selection of wheat malt, barley malt and caramel malt. It has the typical dark wheat aroma and a dark amber color. The beer is unfiltered, thus containing all natural ingredients. Turbity is a quality requirement and consists of proteins and yeast.

Bottle@Lars place - Orange pour with white head. Sweet and toasted bready malty with notes of caramel and toffee, some citrus fruity notes, sweet math into the finish.

50 cl can. Pours hazy orange, small off white head. Aroma is toasted and estery. Slight fruity. Medium dry. Estery and slight fruity finish.

Can from REMA 1000. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Light bitter flavor. few fruity esters. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. Boring but cheap.

Can. Deep cloudy amber colour. Huge ivory head. Nose: banana esters, caramel & wheat malts, spice. Light body. The taste is not reaching the level of the attractive aroma. Deluted feel. Pity.

Can 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Mecklenburger Dunkles Weissbier ].Hazy matt medium orange amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, wheat, caramel, sugary, moderate yeasty, weizen yeast, sour notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, candy - sugary, caramel, weizen yeast. Body is medium, texture is creamy - watery, carbonation is soft. [20160611]
