For our sixth anniversary, we are releasing Diana, a Baltic Porter. Dark, lovely and smooth, this brew pays homage perfectly to its namesake pup. Not only is Diana our birthday beer, but it is also a collaboration with the Kamloops SPCA. A dollar from every pint, glass and bottle sold out of the tasting room will be donated to them to ensure that they can continue to unite doggos with the families who need them.

Bottle from BCL
Dark colour, near black, beige head. It has enough malt depth, dark caramel, burnt sugars, lager esters; light residual sweetness.
Elegant and pleasant.

Brown, lasting tan head. Great nose, brown sugar, toasted malt, dark fruit. Similar palate with medium alcohol heat.

Dark brown. No head. Toasty, with some dark sugars, and it finishes dry. Not a ton of complexity or richness, so leans a bit too heavily on hitting some complexity.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some toasted dark fruits, and bready malt. Flavour brings out a nice toasted caramel malt base, with bready malt, and some dark fruits. Bready, toasted caramel finish, with reasonable depth. Good.
