How best to showcase their Cryo Pop blend and experimental HBC 586? We made a juicy, refreshing and crushable hazy pale ale. A Pop Projekt.
(Projekt was the name of our in-house hop exploration series back in the day. It’s back!)
We brewed a base beer of Pilsner malt, with oat flakes and wheat malt for a full mouthfeel and a little bit of Vienna malt to keep things balanced.
This hazy pale ale has big notes of guava, pineapple and mango are in the fruit salad with strawberry, peach and orange.

Murky gold, lasting white head. Dank nose. Palate is dank and dry with tropical notes. Not my thing

Pale blond colour, cloudy to murky. Strong dank hops aroma, some citrus. Dry mouthfeel, a bit oaty, creamy (although not much astringent), followed by strong dank hop character, almost incense.
Very good (if you like dank beers).

Poured from 473mL can (canned 03 Feb 2022). Cloudy yellow with small white head. Aggressive exhaust fumes, tropical hops, touch of hop burn.

Opaque, thin head. Bright stone fruit nose, little pineapple. On the palate, also a lot of pineapple, some hop burn, a bit of malt, moderate bitterness. Not bad, probably would like a touch more malt.
