Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, liste 7% ABV
Murky blond-orange colour. The aroma is juicy and vaguely dank, tropical fruit, some citrus zest. Chewy mouthfeel, too much dirt from the oats, but the hopping is juicy, some mango, bitter orange, some bitter orange peel in the end. I feel some pithy bitterness, otherwise it's an excellent juicy IPA.

Can, Legacy. Has that "still fermenting" look - opaque with a big frothy head. On the nose, has a strong hop note, cryo in its lack of definitive character, unfortunately. Rich hops on the palate, but again so much that it gets vegetal, kind of green and harsh, rather than bright and beautiful. The malts aren't bad, but it's also overly yeasty. Definitely a beer that comes across as green and unready. The galaxy isn't really given a chance to shine here - no brightness or subtlety is allowed.

Taster at Alibi with Sonnet before 2nd CFE Mock. Pours a murky blonde with a white head. Aroma brings out loads of pleasant sweet tropical fruits. Wow. Taste is a bit simpler, but still lots of tropical fruits. It is quite dry. Good one.
